Connection of the Borgonuovo purifier to Rome East

Description and Goals

The construction of the new "By-pass cesspool of the Borgonuovo purifier" comes under the general hygienic-environmental rehabilitation plan of the Municipalities of Tivoli and Guidonia and aims to provide concrete intervention in the territory by providing it with an efficient urban wastewater collection and purification system. This intervention will allow currently untreated water (SNAN) to be purified and wastewater collection to be centralised towards the Rome East Purifier which has a treatment capacity that can better guarantee an effective management of the entire purification process.
