The technological platform for the sustainable management of the water cycle, created by the Group in collaboration with NTT DATA Italia, also received yesterday evening the "Eccellenze del Design nel Lazio” award (Design Excellence in Lazio).

Acea Waidy® Management System has been included in the ADI Design Index 2023, the list of products and services created by Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI) to highlight the best of contemporary Italian design. The technological platform, designed by Acea in collaboration with NTT DATA Italia, for the sustainable management of water resources throughout its life cycle, was among the 219 products chosen by ADI and was included in the index in the "Service design" category.
After the event in Milan, the annual collection was presented yesterday afternoon in Rome on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the selected products at the WeGil Space. During the event, Acea Waidy® Management System received the "Eccellenze del Design nel Lazio" award, conferred to companies and designers operating in the region and published in the ADI Design Index.
With design curated by Tangity, a design studio of NTT DATA and part of the NTT DATA Design Network, Acea Waidy® Management System is a scalable, secure and adaptable cloud solution for the predictive maintenance of the integrated water network, with the aim of offering an advanced tool to support the management of the integrated water cycle and to protect the water resource. In the management of the infrastructures of the Acea Group companies, it has made possible to reduce losses, in a single district, by up to 35% and the failure rate by up to 25%.
