The company, Italy’s leading water operator, will be present at the Race for the Cure Village at Circus Maximus with a stand dedicated to water
A team of 600 Acea runners will take part in the Race for the Cure on Sunday 10 May, as a sign of solidarity
Acea renews its support for the Race for the Cure, the event against breast cancer promoted by Komen Italia. Now in its 27th edition, the iconic event for prevention and solidarity is taking place at Circus Maximus in Rome until 10 May, under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.
In the Partner Area of the Village, Acea has a stand dedicated to water, where visitors took part in interactive activities aimed at raising awareness about water education and the company’s rigorous commitment to water quality controls and responsible resource management, values that Acea has always promoted and that align with the culture of prevention promoted by the Race for the Cure. The stand also features “Ah2O! l’Acqua di Roma” (“Ah2O! the Water of Rome”) branded water cartons by Acea, created to highlight the purity of Rome’s water made available at the Race, a play on words between the typical Roman exclamation “Ahó” and the chemical formula for water, the same water that Acea brings to citizens’ homes every day.
The big celebration on Sunday 10 May will also feature a 10km competitive race for Fidal-registered athletes, a 5km run, and a 2km walk in the heart of Rome. Among the many teams taking part as a sign of solidarity will be the Acea team, this year made up of 600 participants.
