The Santa Maria di Galeria facility in the 14th Municipality will have an expected output of approximately 12.5 GWh/year and will supply enough energy to meet the annual needs of around 4,600 households, preventing the emission into the atmosphere of 4,500 tonnes per year of carbon dioxide.
Acea Solar (100% Acea Produzione) continues its growth in the photovoltaic sector with the entry into operation of a plant in Santa Maria di Galeria, in the 14th Municipality, with a capacity of 7 MW. The plant, entirely designed and built by Acea Solar, with an expected output of approximately 12.5 GWh/year, is capable of supplying enough energy to meet the annual needs of around 4,600 households, preventing the emission into the atmosphere of 4,500 tonnes per year of carbon dioxide, compared with an equivalent output from fossil sources. The park covers an area of about 14 hectares and benefits from remuneration under a GSE incentive.
Built using the most advanced installation techniques, through the use of bifacial modules and a single-axis tracking system that ensure an increase in output for the same surface area; the Santa Maria di Galeria photovoltaic park was designed with particular attention to landscape integration and respect for the surrounding environment, taking into account the morphological and scenic features, so as not to alter local ecosystems, contributing instead to preserving and enhancing the surrounding area.
Acea confirms its commitment to developing production from renewable sources in order to contribute to achieving the goals of the energy transition and to the sustainable development of the country.
