Acea announces that it has completed, through its subsidiary a.Quantum, the acquisition of Aquanexa from Algebris Investments.

 

The economic value of the transaction, in terms of Enterprise Value for 100% of Aquanexa with reference to the current scope, amounts to approximately €205 million. The consolidated pro-forma EBITDA of the acquired company amounted to approximately €30 million in 2025. The current scope may be expanded as a result of acquisitions in the process of completion, with a consequent increase in the variable price components, within the limits and under the conditions specified in the agreements.

 

The transaction, approved by the competent authorities, is part of Acea’s strategy to further strengthen its leadership and expertise in the water sector, fostering the development of innovative solutions and services for an increasingly efficient and sustainable network management.
