Raising awareness and promoting a greater understanding of the importance of water resources take centre stage at the Festival through the Acea Scuola programme for young people.
Once again this year, Acea is renewing its support for the Giffoni Film Festival, which opens today, helping to promote a project with a strong ethical and social impact in the Campania region, where the Group operates through its companies Gori and Gesesa.
Acea will draw young people’s attention to practices supporting the sustainable use of water, including water conservation, reuse, and responsible choices, also through an extensive social media campaign. Sustainable water use is everyone’s responsibility, which is why Acea has long been committed to awareness-raising initiatives aimed primarily at young people.
The Giffoni Film Festival offers a valuable opportunity to showcase the Acea Scuola – Water Education project, now in its third edition, which has involved more than 30,000 primary and lower secondary school students across Italy. The project aims to educate younger generations about making more conscious and responsible use of water.
